Ready for some tough love?
Striving for work-life balance is a lie that leads to burnout.

So many professionals with the best intentions struggle to know how they can consistently show up for their PURPOSE WORK without losing themselves or burning out.
They wonder how they can contribute while still creating healthy, thriving relationships, or if it’s just a pipedream. If you’ve ever felt this way, you are not alone.
But it doesn’t have to be like this. Your cosmic task is calling.
Your Work Matters AND You Matter More.
What if it was possible to...
- Contribute to your purpose work in a sustainable way
- Help create a more peaceful, just, equitable, and sustainable world
- Maintain a healthy relationship with yourself and stay connected to who you are
- Improve your relationships and personal life
- Find more happiness, fulfillment, and alignment in your life
It's time to reimagine our relationship with work, stop striving for work-life balance, and embrace the concept of alignment.
Hi I’m Katie,
TEDx Speaker, Author, and Executive Director at Cincinnati Montessori Secondary Teacher Education Program
I know what it’s like to be so invested in your work that you start to lose yourself. And as someone who is dedicated to making a difference in the world through the work that I do, I get how hard it is to juggle everything that we want to contribute.
We are often told we just need more work-life balance. Or we are told not to care as much. We try to implement more rules to help us leave work early or turn off our brains, but balance never seems to work for us. And we can’t separate aspects of who we are. It’s not realistic, and it causes more stress, sadness, and suffering.
We need a new way of thinking about our relationship with ourselves and our work.
I’ve learned how to redefine my relationship with myself, my purpose, and my work through the concept of alignment. And I’ve witnessed the potential it has to support others in helping professions revolutionize their approach to their work while supporting their development as humans.
Using an integrative, holistic, and multidimensional approach to understanding who we are and what we are here to do has the power to transform the individual, the workplace, and the community.

I walked away from it feeling a little less guilt and a lot more clarity on how being an education advocate can really fit into all other aspects of my life — as a mom, wife, and full-time editor.
